A long-term partnership built to deliver change
We've enjoyed a close partnership with CAST over a number of years now, working together frequently as one team to support excellent organisations in need of smart technical solutions to support their change-making work.
CAST (The Centre for the Acceleration of Social Technology) is a charity focused on supporting the social sector in becoming more responsive, resilient and digitally-enabled. Alongside their experience in researching, designing and developing socially purposeful technologies, CAST bring additional experience of working with funding organisations as they look to align their digital practice with strategic ambitions and values.

Improving access to service listings for refugees with the Disrupt Foundation.
We partnered with CAST and the Disrupt Foundation to build a solution for better managing referrals and service listings for refugees in Greater Manchester, as the existing process required refugees to navigate disparate providers themselves.
There are already plans to scale regionally, and more potential for it to be used across the UK.
Developing a data-driven platform with Crisis that helps communities work towards measurably ending homelessness.
Based on similar existing international projects, we partnered with CAST and Crisis build initially a prototype of the system for the UK in order for the proof of concept to be demonstrated, followed by the version to be rolled out to local authorities nationally. Placing the individual at the centre, the tool can now allow for tracking the service delivery standard, numbers of people and levels of support.
Creating a simple, visual assessment tool to accelerate digital leadership and improve digital skills through a trickle-down effect.
CAST wanted a user-friendly, password-free tool to help people in the non-profit sector identify their leadership strengths and foster mentorship. Using research-based competencies, the tool aimed to increase the sector's digital standards by enabling digital leaders to identify and track their progress milestones, providing prompts for self-assessment, note-taking, and growth.
