"Making it beautiful" with Global Optimism
How we created a visually stunning site with effective and cohesive sub branding
Climate crisis group Global Optimism wanted a rebrand and website redesign that would be truly compelling.
Crucially, there were two brands and two sites that would be deeply connected. Firstly, the core Global Optimism brand, and furthermore there was the sister podcast site Outrage+Optimism. They needed a strong sense of cohesion with the design and interconnectedness of the two sites.
From the very start of the process, we knew that this was a group with a lot of passion. Throughout the workshops and discovery process we listened deeply to a wide range of voices and activists. We know that key to the success of the design would be in being able to convey this energy.
The process was very fulfilling for the Developer Society team and the Partner was delighted with the finished design. The brands resonated significantly and harmoniously across the two sites in a unique and engaging way.
